An immersive program for professionals who want to build strategic management skills, broaden their international perspective, or prepare for a career transition. The academic phase runs from September to June and is followed by an Applied Research Project.

A blended, part-time program for experienced professionals who want to develop their leadership and business capabilities while continuing to work. It combines online learning with nine intensive in-person weeks and two international study trips.

Beyond the four general management specializations, Executive MBA participants can choose the Executive MBA – Tech Track, with two advanced technology pathways: Microelectronics or Energy. Developed with Grenoble’s innovation ecosystem and partners including the CEA and INSTN, these pathways combine advanced management training with sector expertise for professionals from technical or scientific backgrounds.
The Global MBA includes an Applied Research Project, allowing you to explore a topic aligned with your professional aspirations.
The Executive MBA includes an Executive Capstone, a six-month strategic project focused on solving a real organizational challenge and creating measurable impact.

MBA Admissions
The Global MBA is a full-time program in Grenoble for professionals with at least three years of experience who want an immersive year to accelerate, change, or internationalize their career. The Executive MBA is a part-time, blended program for professionals with at least five years of experience who want to strengthen their leadership while continuing to work. Each specialization is delivered in three intensive week-long sessions that bring Global MBA and Executive MBA participants together, expanding their professional network.
Executive MBA participants can instead choose the Tech Track, with one of two specializations:

Specializations run subject to a minimum number of participants.
The Executive MBA – Tech Track is designed for engineers, scientists, and technology professionals moving into leadership roles. Participants choose one of two specializations: Microelectronics or Energy. Each specialization was developed with partners from Grenoble’s innovation ecosystem, including the CEA and INSTN, and combines advanced management training with in-depth sector expertise.
GEM’s MBA programs combine international recognition, applied learning, and close ties to innovation-driven industries. GEM is based in Grenoble, one of Europe’s leading deep-tech hubs for microelectronics and energy, so participants have direct access to this ecosystem throughout their studies. Learning is hands-on, from business projects to a final project built around each participant’s career goals.
The environment is highly international: the Global MBA ranks 16th worldwide for diversity (QS Global MBA Rankings 2027), and shared specialization sessions bring Global MBA and Executive MBA participants together, widening their professional network. Two formats serve different career stages, the immersive Global MBA and the blended Executive MBA, both at a triple-accredited school (AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA).
The Global MBA is open to candidates with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience and the Executive MBA requires at least 5 years of work experience.
The Global MBA lasts 10 months, followed by an Applied Research Project and 3 to 6 months of professional experience where applicable. The Executive MBA runs 21 months in a blended format and includes a 6-month Executive Capstone Project.
Tuition for the Global MBA is €39,000 for the 2026 intake, including the Berlin study trip. The Executive MBA starts from €41,000. Scholarships of up to 40% are available for both programs.
Yes. GEM is triple-accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA — a distinction held by a small minority of business schools worldwide. Both the Global MBA and the Executive MBA the Diplôme d’Études Supérieures en Stratégie et Management des Projets de Transformation, an RNCP Level 7 qualification (RNCP 42734) equivalent to a Master’s degree (Bac+5) and worth 120 ECTS credits.
GEM’s Global MBA entered the global Top 90 (89th worldwide) in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2025 and ranks 26th in Europe in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2026. The Executive MBA ranks 47th worldwide and 15th worldwide for career progression in the QS Executive MBA Rankings 2026.

Yes. GEM offers merit-based scholarships for both the Global MBA and Executive MBA programs. Awards can cover a significant portion of tuition—up to 40%—subject to eligibility, available funding, and application timing.
