Research Themes
Academic management research at GEM spans all disciplines that inform and support change-makers, encompassing both traditional management sciences (Marketing, Strategy, Finance, HRM, Supply Chain) and related fields such as Economics, Data Science, Psychology and Geopolitics. Research institutes and chairs provide fertile ground for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research.
Scientific output is structured around eight specialized research teams, each focused on specific themes and disciplinary approaches, and united by a strong commitment to advancing innovative management practices.
Organization and Governance
Research at GEM is structured around thematic research teams, partner-based institutes and chairs, and large-scale funded projects. Research governance is coordinated by the Associate Dean for Research, Thibault Daudigeos, Professor and member of the Alternative Forms of Markets and Organizations research team, and co-holder of the Local Sustainability Transition and Well-being Chair. His research focuses on the social innovation potential of alternative organizational forms within the collaborative economy.
Funded Research
At GEM, funded research takes many forms: projects supported by major national and European research programs, research contracts with companies and public organizations, and partnerships developed through research chairs and institutes. What unites all these initiatives is a shared commitment to impact and to serving change-makers at the heart of scientific activity.
