GEM offers Undergraduate Certificates, taught 100% in English to validate skills and competencies in diverse areas of Management and Commerce in an international learning environment.
Certificate in Business Studies (CBS): available in year 2
This Certificate is offered on the Grenoble Campus.
The Certificate in Business Studies is offered during the fall or spring semester of year 2 of the International BBA program. Students must validate 30 ECTS credits including the language module to receive an Undergraduate Certificate in Business Studies (CBS).
Students must have validated 60 ECTS credits in order to begin this semester program.

Certificate in International Business (CIB): available in year 3
This Certificate is offered on the Grenoble and on the Paris Campus.
The Certificate in International Business is offered during the fall or spring semester of year 3 of the International BBA program. Students must validate 30 ECTS credits including the language module to receive an Undergraduate Certificate in International Business (CIB).
Students must have validated 120 ECTS credits in order to begin this semester program.

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to

Evaluation
Typically, students are assigned 18-21 hours of interactive face to face teaching per week and are expected to work 30 hours outside the classroom. This includes pre-reading and preparation for class, homework and group/individual assessments. In groups of 3-5, students work on presentations, essays and projects in order to learn about the challenges and decisions facing managers and business leaders today.

Admissions Criteria
To apply for the Certificate programs, candidates must complete an online application and include scanned copies of all original supporting documents. All documents must be in English or French or be submitted with a certified translation into English if written in another language.
- High school diploma, Baccalaureat, minimum of three “A” levels or equivalent.
- CBS – 60 ECTS credits necessary to apply
- CIB – 120 ECTS credits necessary to apply
- University transcripts (front / back with scale)
- CV/Resume
- 1 motivation essay
- 1 academic references. Family members or friends are not acceptable as referees
- Scan of passport
- Proof of English level (must be submitted before the start of the academic year):
– TOEFL IBT: 80. TOEFL Institution code: 8973
– IELTS Academic/IELTS Indicateur: 6
– Cambridge English (Proficiency/Advanced/Business Higher) level C1: Grade A,B or C
– Duolingo English Test: 100
Not accepted : TOEIC, Institutional/ITP TOEFL, Cambridge English First (FCE)/Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE-A).
English test waiver may be granted for International Baccalaureate (IB) graduates or for students having studied in English for more than 3 years (proof required).
Please note English test scores must be communicated to GEM by the beginning of July for September programs and by the beginning of November for January programs.
Please note that for your initial application we ask only for copies of documents. Once accepted, we will request to send digital certified copies that students must present during induction week.
To ensure GEM is the right fit, candidates may be asked to participate in an interview. They will be notified if an interview is necessary after the Admission Board meets.
Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please consult rolling admissions deadlines.
Student Program Fees 2025 intake
6,500 € per Certificate.
Fees are subject to change. Please verify program fees at the start of each year. Fees cover tuition, administrative fees, and access to all facilities. They do not cover accommodation, meals, or personal expenses.
Please read the policy concerning the refund of tuition fees.
All academic qualifications, including those earned at GEM, are recognized at the discretion of each country or university. Students seeking admission to another course of study or who wish to work in a specific country after their GEM program may need to have their GEM degree certified through a process specified by the receiving authority.
International students
Visa requirements may apply to International students in order to study or work in France. All international students are expected to verify requirements with their local French consulate and plan accordingly. GEM has no influence over this process.
