UPRAISE – Digital skills X Virtual worlds
A European project dedicated to developing the skills required for the virtual worlds economy. Its purpose is to support the transformation of both professions and organisations through education and training programmes that enable current and future professionals to acquire expertise in the digital and virtual fields.
Learning Programmes
Upraise’s training programmes enable learners to develop technical, strategic and entrepreneurial skills to succeed in the virtual worlds ecosystem.
Learners can tailor their learning journey to their career goals thanks to up-to-date content, innovative teaching approaches and a strong link to industry needs.
By offering flexible learning formats, such as short courses, MOOCs, blended learning and immersive experiences, UPRAISE makes advanced digital education more accessible and inclusive, empowering participants to learn at their own pace whilst balancing work and personal commitments.
For Students
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes
ISCED level 6, 180 ECTS. Concentrate on foundational digital skills and virtual world technologies. Developed in collaboration with 9 external higher education institutions (HEIs) in Europe, including GEM.

For Professionals
Modular Training Programs
These programmes meet the needs of the rapidly evolving digital economy by providing learners the opportunity to acquire specific, job-relevant skills through short and stand-alone modules. Learners can select and combine modules according to their career goals, thereby facilitating continuous skills development, reskilling and career transitions.
Micro-credentials
UPRAISE modular training programmes are supported by a micro-credentials approach, which provides formal and transparent recognition of the skills and competences acquired through each module.

UPRAISE has received the STEP seal (Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform)*
