The Admissions Jury: Composition and Role

The admissions jury is composed of a jury president (representing Grenoble Ecole de Management) and one or two members from the business world.

Your Role as a Jury Member

As a jury member, you take part in evaluating candidates for GEM’s Grande École Program. Your role is to assess their motivation, personality, and ability to express themselves and interact.
You’re Not Alone!
Each session is led by a GEM jury president who guides you throughout the interviews.

Please note: all interviews are conducted in French. Fluency in French is required.

How a Jury Session Works

Each half-day jury session includes the evaluation of 5 to 6 candidates. The format is structured and consistent for all:

  • Candidate presentation (5 min): a free presentation on a topic of their choice.
  • Reverse interview (10 min): the candidate asks you questions.
  • Open discussion (15 min): a free exchange to go deeper.

⏱️ Total duration: approx. 30 minutes per candidate.

Required presence: one half-day (morning or afternoon)
Morning jury*: 8:15 AM to 12:30 PM
Afternoon jury*: 1:15 PM to 6:30 PM

In-Person or Remote Participation

You can take part:

  • In Grenoble (main campus).
  • In Paris (GEM Paris Pantin campus).
  • Remotely via Microsoft Teams (GMT+1 Paris time).
