- Gain Professional Experience: You must complete at least 13 weeks of professional experience between May and August. Work experience can include:
- Internship in France or abroad

- Get support for your entrepreneurial venture: Students with an entrepreneurial project can benefit from specific support and submit their project to the incubator: IncubaGEM.
Optional gap year between Year 1 and Year 2. Several options are available:

Complete two 6-month interships to clarify your professional project while gaining experience, in France or abroad. Fixed-term contracts and business creations are also valid. - The gap year may also allow you to start a double degree in Design & Management with Strate Ecole de Design

During this year, you will continue to master your specialization and can choose an option that may include a double degree, exchange or a specific field of expertise. Most of our students will specialized through a double-degree : in addition to your Master’s degree in Management you will get an Advanced Master, MBA or MSc:
• In your preferred field: finance, marketing, auditing, management, IA, Climate transition, Géopolitics…
• Delivered by GEM or by one of our partners, in France or abroad.
Exchange Programs: participate in one semester or one year abroad at a partner university. Language courses are not allowed. You need to validate 30 ECTS credits (12 US credits) per semester. Students are not allowed to go on the exchange in the country of their origin (nationality restriction).

Teaching and assessment
Foreign Languages
Learning a foreign language is required for all GEM programs (this does not apply for exchange, double degrees or transcontinental track). Non-French speakers have the option of studying French (beginner to advanced level), a recommended option for students looking to work in France following their studies. French speakers may choose from a number of other languages.
Pedagogy
The Master in Management’s teaching approach is very practical, based on real-life business cases and enriched by contributions from professionals. New learning experiences help you develop your capacity for innovation and creativity: role-playing, virtual reality, serious games, theater, and more.
Evaluation
Acquisition of skills and competencies is assessed through continuous assessment, exams, professional experiences, individual work and group projects. Your professional, international and associative experiences are evaluated to measure skills you have learned. An oral exam at the end of your final year.
Validation
In the event of a partial validation of a professional certification, the blocks of competencies that have been validated are considered acquired and a certificate of validation is provided.
Note: all academic qualifications, including those earned at GEM, are recognized at the discretion of each country or university. Students seeking admission to a further course of study or who wish to work in a specific country after their GEM program may need to have their GEM degree certified through a process specified by the receiving authority.

How can you enroll in the Master in Management program
Recruitment for this program is on a worldwide basis.
Students who have graduated from a foreign university, regardless of their nationality, can join us via the international admission route, based on their application (and interview if necessary).
Non-French speakers are welcome in the English Track, where all courses will be taught in English. International students whose level of French is sufficient may apply to the French Track. Students who have graduated from a French university must apply via the French admission path.
Students come from a wide variety of backgrounds: science, humanities, languages, technical and engineering. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
To apply for this program, candidates must complete the online application and include scanned copies of all original supporting documents. All documents must be in English or in French or be submitted with a certified translation into English if written in another language.
Academic and administrative requirements for both English and French tracks
- Official copy of latest degree or diploma or certificate of enrollment with an approximate graduation date
- University transcripts: front/back with grading scale
- CV/Resume
- 1 essay (related to your academic/professional experience and your reasons for choosing this program – min 400/max 600 words)
- 1 academic reference. Family members or friends are not acceptable as referees.
- Scan of passport
Candidates can be admitted into the program under conditions of passing official tests or providing degree certificates (if still enrolled) later. Please note that for your initial application, we ask only for copies of documents. If you are accepted, we will then request to send digital certified copies that you will be asked to present during the induction week. Visa requirements may apply to International Students in order to study or work in France. All international students are expected to verify requirements with their local French consulate and plan accordingly. GEM has no influence over this process.
