Grenoble École de Management (GEM) has reached a symbolic milestone with 230 active international academic partnerships across more than 45 countries. Among the most recent and high-profile agreements: Stanford University, alongside leading institutions such as UCSB, Fundação Dom Cabral (Brazil), and Tongji University (China). This development reflects GEM’s commitment to strengthening its international academic alliances, in line with the EAGLE 2030 strategy, bolstered by the arrival of Dana Brown to the School’s Executive Committee in December 2024.
As part of its partnership with Stanford University, GEM students will have the unique opportunity to participate in the prestigious Stanford International Honors Program (IHP) beginning in summer 2026. This alliance reflects GEM’s ambition to connect its students with centers of global excellence and to train them within the world’s most transformative ecosystems.
Starting in June 2026, GEM students will be able to take part in the highly selective Stanford IHP, an immersive 8-week experience held on Stanford’s California campus, combining academic excellence and cutting-edge innovation.
Participants will benefit from:
Ranked among the world’s top five universities, Stanford University stands as a model of academic excellence, interdisciplinary research, and technological innovation. Its influence stems from its strategic position at the heart of Silicon Valley and recognized expertise in tech, AI, social sciences, and entrepreneurship, with 36 Nobel Prizes awarded to its faculty and researchers. Its prestige is also supported by a powerful alumni network, including the founders of Google, LinkedIn, and Netflix.
Similarly, GEM is located in a globally recognized scientific and technological ecosystem. Based in Grenoble—nicknamed the “European Silicon Valley”—the School collaborates closely with leading research institutions such as CEA, CNRS, ESRF, ILL, EMBL, as well as innovation clusters like GIANT, MINATEC, and Minalogic.
This new alliance with Stanford University is part of a broader international expansion driven by the EAGLE 2030 strategy. Starting in 2025–2026, GEM will open a new campus in Dubai, and develop two academic hubs in Canada and China, while continuing to forge new strategic partnerships around the globe.
This global network gives every GEM student access to a high-value international experience, with opportunities for double degrees, exchange programs, impact-driven missions, and learning within the ecosystems where today’s major transformations are unfolding.
