What is a Master of Science (MSc)?
Created by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE), the Master of Science (MSc) is originally an internationally recognized Bac+5 (Master’s level) degree with strong global recognition. In recent years, it has also gained recognition in France and Europe. For French business schools that hold the required accreditation and are members of the CGE, such as Grenoble Ecole de Management (see the list of accreditations of Grenoble Ecole de Management), the MSc allows students to obtain a Master’s degree qualification (90 ECTS credits in 1 year and 120 ECTS credits in 2 years), officially recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and certified by the RNCP (National Directory of Professional Certifications).
This program is primarily designed for international students but is also open to French students holding a Bac+3 or Bac+4 degree, with or without professional experience. The duration of an MSc at GEM ranges from 12 to 24 months, depending on the program. This degree is ideal for students looking to pursue an international career and develop in-depth expertise in a specific field.
To complete the program, students are required to undertake a company internship of at least 4 months and present a final thesis before a jury.
