No. You must commit to the entire time slot (morning or afternoon) to ensure full jury presence. Each jury must include at least one member.

No, we are looking for volunteer professionals. Participating as a jury member is a voluntary commitment, driven by the desire to contribute to the selection of future GEM talents and to enjoy a meaningful human experience.

Business Casual is recommended: professional yet relaxed, suitable for a friendly and serious atmosphere.

Jury members are informed in advance of the candidates’ type of academic background (preparatory classes – BCE – or direct admissions – AST). However, to ensure equal opportunity for all candidates, no individual information is shared with the jury prior to the interviews.

The jury is composed of a chairperson, who must be a faculty member at GEM, and one or two professionals from the business world. This composition ensures a balanced perspective between academics and practitioners. The list of jury members is posted on-site on the day of the evaluation to ensure the accuracy of the information, particularly in the event of any last-minute changes.

  • Grenoble: Access to GEM’s parking (rue de la Frise) is reserved for jury members.
  • Paris: No GEM parking available. We recommend using public transportation.

The jury president consults with the other jury members and takes their feedback into account, which is then reflected in the evaluation form. However, in the event of a disagreement over the grade to be awarded, it is ultimately the president who makes the final decision. The final grade is determined in alignment with GEM’s evaluation criteria and core values.

Yes. You will receive an email in September listing the candidates who chose to enroll at GEM.

No. Sessions are specifically organized as either in-person or remote. Switching formats after registration is not possible.

No. Scratch paper and a pencil will be provided if needed. Only the jury president uses a computer to enter evaluations.

In accordance with the GDPR, all notes taken during the session must be deleted once the session is over. For in-person sessions, a “confidential” bin will be made available for this purpose.

Jury members and presidents are informed that they may appear in general photographs taken during the event, which may be used to illustrate reports (published on GEM’s website, in the press, or on social media).
