The International Pre-Master’s Program (IPMP) is an on-campus postgraduate pathway delivered at GEM’s Paris campus for students who hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree, but do not yet meet direct entry requirements for GEM’s postgraduate programs.
A Focused Bridge Into GEM Master’s and MSc Programs
Successful IPMP graduates who meet progression requirements are guaranteed entry to Year 1 of GEM postgraduate programs (subject to the specified program entry criteria). Students with a 4-year bachelor’s degree in business may be eligible to immediately enter Year 2.

Program Highlights
Strengthen advanced academic writing, research, and analytical skills to meet the expectations of postgraduate education in a global business school. The program is designed to close common readiness gaps and help you transition confidently into master’s-level coursework.
Develop core competencies in research methods, business analysis, and professional communication through applied, practice-oriented learning. The curriculum supports success across a wide range of GEM master’s and MSc programs by reinforcing critical thinking and structured problem-solving.
Learn on campus in Paris alongside an international cohort, developing the academic discipline and professional behaviours required at the postgraduate level. Students who meet progression requirements are guaranteed entry to Year 1 of eligible GEM master’s or MSc programs.

Eligibility and Progression
Entry requires a recognized undergraduate degree and an English level of IELTS 4.5 or equivalent. Progression to a Master’s or MSc program requires IELTS 6.0 overall (no band below 5.0) or equivalent, and a minimum average of 60%.
