The International Foundation Program (IFP) is an on-campus pathway delivered at GEM’s Paris campus, designed for international students who do not yet meet the direct entry requirements for undergraduate study.
Your Pathway to GEM’s International BBA
Successful IFP graduates who meet progression requirements are guaranteed entry to Year 1 of the GEM International BBA. After completing the International BBA, high-performing students may be eligible for entry into Year 2 of a GEM Master’s program.

Program Highlights
Build the academic English, study habits, and confidence needed to thrive in an international business school environment. You’ll strengthen writing, reading, presentations, and classroom participation so you can perform from day one of your degree.
Develop core knowledge in management, marketing, economics, and quantitative skills using practical examples and active learning. The curriculum is designed to support a smooth transition into the GEM International BBA, with clear expectations and continuous feedback.
Study on campus in Paris alongside an international cohort while building intercultural awareness and professional behaviours. Non-French speakers receive French language and cultural instruction, and students who meet progression requirements are guaranteed entry to Year 1 of the GEM International BBA.

Eligibility and Progression
Entry is designed for students who have completed secondary school and have an English level of IELTS 4.5 or equivalent. Progression to the International BBA requires IELTS 6.0 overall (no band below 5.0) or equivalent, and a minimum average of 60%.
