VISIT THE FRENCH ALPS THIS SUMMER FOR AN IMMERSIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCE AND STUDY AT A TOP EIGHT TRIPLE ACCREDITED FRENCH BUSINESS SCHOOL
Join us for 2 weeks in Grenoble, a vibrant city in the French Alps, and earn 8 ECTS credits (US equivalent is 4 credits) studying Social Responsibility in International Business alongside an award winning immersive course, Sustainability Transition in International Business, noted in the Financial Times as a leading global project that is “reimagining curricula by integrating sustainability, experiential learning and advanced technologies to tackle global challenges (Financial Times Jan 22, 2025)”.

Core course
- Gain knowledge about the main sustainability challenges facing business today;
- Discover how global companies adapt and innovate to face these challenges, especially how innovation for sustainability require cross-collaborations between internal services and with external stakeholders;
- Learn how to handle the main tools of the trade (Sustainability Donut, Materiality matrix, LCA, GHG protocol…);
- Learn how to design innovative business models for sustainability.
- Analyse and discuss social & ethical issues International Managers face;
- Delve in personal understandings of values, responsibilities and socially relevant philosophies and apply these in various activities and cases;
- Gain insight and a better understanding of social responsibilities in business focusing on workplace diversity, intercultural management;
- Be advised how to create firms, workplaces, or teams that enhance ethical or responsible cultures, products and services.
Faculty
Classes are taught by GEM’s permanent faculty, made up of French and international professors and researchers, as well as visiting lecturers from renowned partner institutions and industry professionals.
This diversity of nationalities and backgrounds fosters a global and multicultural perspective on management. All faculty members share a pedagogical approach grounded in academic excellence, intercultural openness, and a strong connection to real-world business practices.
Pedagogy
Typically, students are expected to work 30 hours outside the classroom. This includes pre-reading and preparation for class, homework and group/individual assessments.

- Undergraduate students having completed at least 2 years of study in any discipline.
- Fluent English (proof required if non-native speaker)
