GEM Career Fair 2026: the key event for talented students and companies looking to recruit them

GEM

More than a thousand GEM students came to meet representatives from 80 companies participating in the GEM Career Fair, the recruitment forum that took place on Wednesday, January 28, and Thursday, January 29, 2026, on the Alpes campus.

The GEM Career Fair, which takes place every year, is a unique opportunity for students from all our programs to meet companies face-to-face and secure a work-study position, internship, or even their first job.

The flagship event where our students boost their employability

The GEM Career is a win-win event. It offers our students the opportunity to connect directly with a wide range of organizations from different sectors, while allowing companies to identify talented individuals who meet their specific skill requirements.

Companies of all sizes and sectors

In total, more than 220 professionals representing companies of all sizes and from many sectors* took advantage of this opportunity to identify and recruit well-prepared and informed students.

Among the professionals in attendance, around 60 were GEM Alpine Business School graduates, delighted to return to their roots and share their career paths and advice. Our current students were able to gain a better understanding of the skills and profiles sought, learn more about recruitment processes, and finally collect valuable contacts to enrich their network.

Comprehensive professional support

Thanks to the expertise of the GEM Career Center, students benefited from comprehensive support before and during the event: CV optimization, mock interviews, presentation pitch rehearsals, career planning, etc. These are all key assets for presenting oneself to recruiters with confidence and conviction.

Special attention was also given to students with disabilities. Around twenty of them were able to meet with the event’s six disability-friendly partner companies.

At Ardian, we are fortunate to have highly motivated candidates. When they come to see us for interviews, they have usually done their homework. And you can tell, because the discussions are fruitful and rich.

During these two days, our students were also able to benefit from the knowledge and advice of the Work-Study Program department. Finally, IncubaGEM, the school’s start-up incubator, answered questions from around 20 entrepreneurial project leaders about its business creation support services.
