Evaluation and Validation
Teaching Methods at GEM are highly practical, based on real business cases and enriched by contributions from industry professionals. These learning experiences help you develop your innovation and creativity skills through simulations, real case studies, and hands-on exercises.
- Assessment: Case studies based on real or hypothetical business situations, completed individually and/or in groups.
- Program completion: Writing and defending a professional thesis before an academic and professional jury.
The professional thesis is the final step toward obtaining the degree. It is neither an internship report nor an academic doctoral thesis. It is a well-developed managerial reflection, combining field observations and theoretical research, providing a genuine contribution to the company. It must conclude with recommendations applicable exclusively to the company where the assignment took place.
In the case of partial validation of the targeted professional certification, the validated skill blocks are acquired and documented through a certificate (certification of skill block(s)). Correspondences of skill blocks are available on the RNCP records of professional certifications.
