Velmurugan is a PhD Student in Marketing. He works with the Marketing Strategy and Innovation (MSI) research team. His research interests include brand activism, service management, and innovation. Before joining the PhD program, he worked as a Product Manager at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), an Indian subsidiary of Unilever. He joined the company as a Unilever Future Leadership Trainee (UFLP Trainee) in 2016 and has six years of work experience. Velmurugan holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (2016) from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree (2014) from the College of Engineering Guindy (CEG), Anna University. Besides work, he likes physical activities like hiking, biking, adventure sports, Etc.
