Jamil joined Grenoble Ecole de Management in 2016 as Assistant Professor of Finance. He obtained his Ph.D in Finance from the University of Toulouse 1 Capitole. His dissertation investigates the impact of the reputation of rating agencies on investors’ perception of ratings, and on rating agencies’ ability to disclose accurate and timely information.
Jamil’s research focuses on the interactions between firms and investors. He is particularly interested in investors’ perception of the financial and extra financial information, and on the link between corporate governance and the adoption of socially responsible strategies by firms.
