Nancy ARMSTRONG is currently Associate Director of Pedagogy at GEM. Originally from Scotland, she graduated with an MA French & Linguistics from Edinburgh University and moved to France in 1987 where she pursued a career in export sales & marketing in the luxury clothing, radio and television broadcast industries. At Grenoble Ecole de Management, Nancy initially served the Languages and Foreign Cultures department as Head of English Programs where her interests focused on CLIL (Content & Language Integrated Learning) methodologies and resulted in the development of a Trilingual Grande Ecole Program. She is now a Professor of the Marketing Department where her courses include International Negotiation, Sales Management, International Advertising & Public Relations. She also develops and conducts Personal Development and Leadership workshops using innovative pedagogical approaches, notably using equine ethology. In her quality as Associate Director of Pedagogy, Nancy participates in faculty recruitment and integration for French and International programs and consequently designs and delivers faculty training workshops covering curriculum building, course design methodology and pedagogical practice, for business professionals and faculty contributing to international programs in Grenoble and off-site campuses worldwide.
