The MSc in International Human Resource Management is a two-year program that prepares you to tackle global HR challenges by developing strategic, intercultural, and digital skills to support organizational transformation.

Workshops to boost personal and professional development

Throughout the program, students benefit from workshops led by HR experts, coaches, and industry professionals. These sessions cover key topics such as personal branding, public speaking, career management, and interview preparation. Individual coaching, online resources, and HR networking events complement this tailored support.

Language learning for an international career

As language skills are essential in a globalized environment, a foreign language module is offered to all students. Non-French speakers take French classes (from beginner to advanced level), while French speakers can choose another foreign language to study.

A final thesis to deepen your expertise

In the second year, students complete a final thesis on a strategic HR issue, allowing them to apply their knowledge and develop in-depth insights on a current topic.

Continuous and career-oriented assessment

Skills are assessed throughout the program via exams, projects, professional experiences, and the final thesis. To graduate, students must demonstrate at least 4 months of international experience (academic or professional). For international students, studying in France fulfills this requirement.

Official recognition of acquired skills

In the case of partial completion of the degree, acquired skill blocks are retained and an official certificate is issued, in accordance with professional certification standards.

All GEM MSc programs are internationally recognized by the prestigious higher education accreditation bodies, AACSB and EQUIS, and are equivalent to a level 7 degree on the European Qualifications Framework, in compliance with the Bologna Agreement for a master’s degree, comprised of 120 ECTS credits.

Graduates of the Master of Science program may continue their studies with an Advanced Master.

Applicants should demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a clear motivation to pursue an international career. No prior professional experience in fashion, design, or luxury management is required, but a solid understanding of the industry and a clear vision of how the program will help achieve career goals are essential.

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is not required for this program.

You may submit your application before receiving your final test results or transcripts/diploma certificates. If the rest of your application meets our criteria, we can issue a conditional offer, which will become final once the required documents have been provided.

Internships are an integral part of all GEM programs, from the Bachelor to the Master level, with placements lasting 2 to 6 months each year, either in France or abroad. These hands-on experiences serve as a bridge between academic learning and the professional world, allowing students to explore different roles, industries, and career paths while developing valuable skills and professional networks.

Internships are a key asset for employability, helping students refine their career goals and often leading to full-time job offers even before graduation.

At any point during your studies, the Talent Office will review your project and, after examination by a committee, may propose a curriculum adjustment that allows you to pursue your studies and start a business at the same time. In this case, your work-study program can be tailored to your business project.

Created in 2011, IncubaGEM, GEM’s start-up incubator, is THE driving force behind entrepreneurship at the school. Reserved for GEM students and graduates, it offers support for a maximum period of 18 months.
