Program specifics
As part of the MSc Innovation & Entrepreneurship, you will take part in a hands-on consulting project in collaboration with partner companies — from local start-ups and scale-ups to international corporations.
Working in teams of 4 to 5 students, you will conduct a strategic analysis, develop innovative business recommendations, and present your results directly to your client, with guidance from a GEM tutor (academic or professional).
Some students may then choose to extend the experience through an internship within the partner company to put their recommendations into practice.
This immersion in Grenoble’s entrepreneurial and technological ecosystem enhances your management, innovation, and leadership skills, while strengthening your ability to turn ideas into action.
Immersive Business Trip
First-year MSc students take part in a one-week business trip to a major European capital such as Berlin, London, Amsterdam, or Barcelona.
The trip includes company visits, professional networking events, and meetings with industry experts, helping students expand their network and prepare for future internship and career opportunities.
Students are also actively involved in organizing the trip, strengthening their project management and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
International Exchange Opportunities
The MSc Innovation & Entrepreneurship offers a unique double-degree opportunity with Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), an accredited partner of GEM.
Students who successfully complete the first year (M1) are eligible to apply for a one-semester academic exchange in Hong Kong, from September to December during their second year (M2). This exchange period can be preceded by an internship of up to five months, allowing students to combine professional experience with international exposure.
Each year, up to five students are selected to earn the MSc in Entrepreneurship and Global Marketing from HKBU upon successful completion of the five on-site modules.
Additional international exchange opportunities are available depending on GEM’s academic partnerships each year.
Personal and Professional Development Workshops
In addition to academic courses, students take part in personal and professional development workshops led by industry experts, coaches, and business professionals. These interactive sessions are designed to enhance employability, refine career goals, and develop key skills in leadership, communication, and project management.
Students also benefit from individual coaching, networking opportunities with partner companies, and access to online resources dedicated to internships and employment.
Finally, industry-focused career communities allow them to build targeted connections and explore career opportunities in their chosen fields.
