Luxury event
In this course, you will learn to evaluate the principles of event management for a luxury brand. You will be asked to design and organize a real event for a prestigious brand.
You will actively participate in all stages: design, planning, promotion, implementation, and post-event communication, in a professional setting.
At the end of this experience, you will be able to analyze the key success factors of luxury events and implement an effective communication strategy for the event you have organized.
Immersive Business Trip
Our first-year MSc students take part in an immersive experience in a European capital of gastronomy, hospitality, and luxury—such as Madrid, Lyon, or Rome.
They visit iconic hotels, restaurants, and luxury brands, meet industry professionals, and engage with experts who are shaping the future of haute cuisine and hotel management.
This exclusive business trip allows them to broaden their international vision, strengthen their professional network, and explore internship or career opportunities.
Students are actively involved in organizing and preparing for this trip.

Live Business Case
Based on a real company in the gastronomy, hospitality, and luxury industry, the Live Business Case will give students the opportunity to reflect on and integrate all aspects of the program. Students will analyze a specific business problem and use their skills and knowledge to contextualize the issues and propose recommendations. This work is done in small groups and spans five months. The case study assessment will be based on group work with a group presentation to the company and moderated according to individual oral performance.

Learning a foreign language is an integral part of the degree program. Non-French speakers can choose from a number of other languages at the beginner level.
- Final thesis
The specialized final thesis is one of the key components of the second year of the program. Students begin in September and complete it at the end of the academic year.

How can you enroll in the MSc Gastronomy, Hospitality and Luxury Management program
Applicants should demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a clear motivation to pursue an international career. No prior professional experience in fashion, design, or luxury management is required, but a solid understanding of the industry and a clear vision of how the program will help achieve career goals are essential.
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is not required for this program.
You may submit your application before receiving your final test results or transcripts/diploma certificates. If the rest of your application meets our criteria, we can issue a conditional offer, which will become final once the required documents have been provided.
The candidate’s bachelor’s degree must be equivalent to at least 180 ECTS credits (3-year bachelor’s degree).
- Applicants must prove that they have earned the equivalent of 240 ECTS credits to enter the one-year program:
Four-year bachelor’s degree OR three-year bachelor’s degree and at least one year of master’s studies. - Applicants must prove that they have earned the equivalent of 60 ECTS credits (one year of study) in business studies.
To ensure that Grenoble Ecole de Management is the right fit for you, you may be invited to participate in an interview. You will be informed of the need for an interview after the admissions committee meeting.
