Program specifics
Professional immersion every year
The program includes up to 6 months of professional experience annually, either through internships or employment, in France or abroad. These periods allow you to apply your skills, enhance your employability, and build a strong professional network.
Valued international experience
All students must complete an international experience—academic or professional—to graduate. For non-French students, studying in France fulfills this requirement. In the second year, you can also switch campuses (Grenoble, Paris, or Singapore) or apply for a double degree with Università Bocconi in Milan, as part of the Master of Science in Accounting, Financial Management and Control program.
Active and career-oriented teaching
The curriculum blends theoretical instruction with practical applications: case studies, financial simulations, serious games, etc. You’ll benefit from 15 to 20 hours of interactive classes per week, supported by in-depth personal work. The goal is to prepare you for industry demands and develop your ability to solve complex problems.
Multicultural and multilingual environment
The MSc is taught entirely in English and welcomes students from over 20 nationalities. Non-French speakers can take French courses (from beginner to advanced levels), while French speakers have access to other foreign languages as electives.

All GEM MSc programs are internationally recognized by the prestigious higher education accreditation bodies, AACSB and EQUIS, and are equivalent to a level 7 degree on the European Qualifications Framework, in compliance with the Bologna Agreement for a master’s degree, comprised of 120 ECTS credits.

How can you enroll in the MSc Finance and Investment Banking program?
An official copy of a Bachelor’s degree equivalent to at least 180 ECTS credits, or a certificate of enrollment with an approximate graduation date.
An official copy of an undergraduate degree equivalent to a minimum of 240 ECTS credits (4-year Bachelor’s degree, or 3-year Bachelor’s + 1 year of Master’s), or a certificate of enrollment indicating the expected graduation date.
A minor (60 ECTS) in business studies including courses in:

At any point during your studies, the Talent Office will review your project and, after examination by a committee, may propose a curriculum adjustment that allows you to pursue your studies and start a business at the same time.
