InnovAI: Artificial Intelligence and visionary concepts
InnovAI is a research project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR). It explores how generative artificial intelligence can support human creativity and the development of visionary concepts—shared representations of the future that structure collective exploration.

The Projet
At the intersection of management, the psychology of creativity and design theory, InnovAI investigates how AI can be used not only to generate ideas, but also to simulate futures, coordinate innovation, and support collective decision-making about long-term trajectories.
The project combines large-scale surveys, laboratory experiments, and field studies conducted with academic partners (CGS Mines ParisTech, Uni Université Paris Cité) and industrial partners (CEA Y.SPOT, Dassault Systèmes, and Schneider Electric). The project is led by Thomas Gillier, Grenoble Ecole de Management.
