Prior to coming to Grenoble Ecole de Management, Heather CONNOLLY was at the University of Leicester School of Business and has held positons at the Universities of Manchester and Warwick. Heather’s research explores the possibilities for trade union renewal, and how trade unions across Europe shape, and are constrained by, their institutional contexts. She has published a number of articles and books in these areas. Her latest book entitled ‘The Politics of Social Inclusion and Labor Representation: Immigrants and Trade Unions in the European Context’ was published by Cornell University Press (2019). She is a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and an Academic Member of the UK professional body for human resource managers, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). She has experience of teaching on a wide variety of employment relations and Human Resource Management modules and research methodology for postgraduate and doctoral students.
