The CVEC is a mandatory yearly contribution each student must pay at the beginning of the academic year. Its objective is to finance services and activities that enrich student life, well-being on campus, and the animation of shared spaces. It supports various projects related to campus life, sports and cultural initiatives, actions in favor of health and prevention, as well as projects aimed at improving study conditions.
Who must pay the CVEC?
All students enrolled in a higher education program in France must pay this contribution except for some instances of exemption (see exemption cases). It is due as soon as you are registered and must be paid before the start of the school year.
Amount and payment terms
The French government sets the amount of the CVEC each year. Payment is made online via the dedicated website. Once payment has been made, a receipt is automatically issued and must be sent to the school as proof of payment to validate your registration.
