Konan Seny Kan

Dr. Konan A. SENY KAN was lecturing at Otago Business School (New Zealand) until July 2021. He is CPA Australia/New Zealand. He was the Head of the Accounting Department at Toulouse Business School (France). Prior to this, he was Assistant Professor at Groupe Sup de Co La Rochelle (France). He obtained is PhD at Toulouse School of Management – University Toulouse 1 Capitole (France). His research is at the crossroads of three themes (1) Accounting, Governance, CSR, (2) Organizations (MNCs, Emerging economies), and (3) Configural Thinking. He has published in journals such as African Management Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Society and Business Review, European Management Journal, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, and Harvard Business Review (professional). He has published teaching materials such textbook and research-based case studies. He serves as Editorial Review Board member of the Journal of Business Research and co-guest editor for special issues in European Management Journal, Management International and Journal of Management and Governance. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of African Business. He also member of COMPASSS (COMPArative Methods for Systematic cross-caSe analySis). He received several awards for this research works: Best paper award 2016 (5^th  conference of the Global Innovation and Knowledge Academy / GIKA); Best Reviewer Award 2011 (International Management Division - An Academy of Management Division - AoM). One of his 2016 co-publications got both the Award for best publication in social science (2018) and the Award for citation publication in social science (2020) (President of King Abdulaziz University - Saudi Arabia).
