Postdoctoral researcher analysing corporate sustainability impacts, with experience in corporate community engagement interventions, cross sector partnership projects, and environmental regulatory compliance.

Eduardo is an International Relations professional, holding a Master’s degree in Regional Studies and a Ph.D. in Management studies from the University of Edinburgh. Throughout his career, Eduardo has explored the interplay between global-local and private-public initiatives, serving as a sustainability consultant within the oil and gas industry and working as a public servant in Mexico’s Ministry of Environment. During his doctoral studies, Eduardo conducted research on Corporate Community Engagement (CCE) interventions, exploring the tensions that practitioners experience and the mechanisms they develop to bring together extractive companies and local communities. Currently, Eduardo works as a post-doctoral researcher at Grenoble Ecole de Management, where he collaborates with a network of scholars in Canada, Denmark, France, and the United Kingdom on a project that investigates the dark side effects of Cross-Sectoral Partnerships.
