More than 30, 000 students in France have committed to act for climate action in their professional life. Among them, 215 students from Grenoble Ecole de Management have already signed the manifesto for an ecological awakening.

« They want to raise awareness prompt governments, public authorities and especially companies take action. More and more students don’t want to work for companies whose only purpose is profit, without taking into account human or environmental impact» explains Jaclyn Rosebrook-Collignon, Head of Sustainability and Social Responsability at Grenoble Ecole de Management.

The student manifesto for an ecological awakening was written by students from AgroParisTech, CentraleSupélec, Ecole Polytechnique, HEC Paris and ENS Ulm. The text also received feedback from students from 10 different schools.

Their goal: «Show that students are worried about the environmental and social disaster we are facing in the future if we don’t act now.   They are more and more aware of the causes that are driving it: an economic system that does not take into account the wellbeing of our planet, as well as overconsumption and waste ».
