A partnership of excellence

This Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Management, Data and AI, co-constructed by GEM and ESIEE Paris, combines management and engineering expertise to train hybrid profiles able to steer major technological and environmental transitions. Students alternate between the GEM and ESIEE Paris campuses depending on the semester, and benefit from high-level supervision at the heart of a recognized innovation ecosystem. ESIEE is providing parts of the technical teaching, particularly AI, data and intelligent energy systems.

  • Gradual immersion into the professional world, with two years of full-time study followed by two years of work-study.

  • Teaching rooted in the real world: between academic research and practical learning experiences, the program draws on the combined expertise of GEM and ESIEE Paris to train professionals who can design and manage responsible solutions.

 

Program Objectives

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

  • Learn how to manage projects related to energy and digital transition, using artificial intelligence. 
  • Acquire skills in both management and understanding major challenges: technology, the environment, energy, and society. 
  • Understand complex, interconnected, and digitized energy systems to ensure their sustainable and strategic management. 
  • Successfully collaborate with managers and engineers on responsible innovation projects. 
  • Prepare for further study or professional integration in the energy, AI, or ecological transition sectors.
  • Develop advanced proficiency in professional English, both spoken and written, in order to evolve effectively in professional environments.

 

Skills and Learning Outcomes

This program shapes hybrid profiles able to connect technology, management and sustainability.
Students develop hands-on skills in data, AI and responsible project management, to design and implement innovative solutions that combine performance, ethics and positive impact.

  • Understand the strategic dimension of an AI project or solution.
  • Use reference tools, environments and methods to develop and deploy an AI and data processing solution.
  • Integrate the technical features and strategic dynamics specific to sectors of application.
  • Manage change and mobilise stakeholders around innovation and transition projects.
  • Design and develop responsible, ethical and sustainable AI solutions.
  • Manage AI or data-related projects, from design to development.
  • Promote and enhance the uses of responsible AI among a wide range of stakeholders.
