GEM Foundation

The GEM Foundation, housed within the Fondation de France, represents the societal commitment of Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM), the first management school to become a mission-driven company. Since 2016, we have collectively worked, with the support of sponsors and donors, to develop projects of public interest.

Why Support the GEM Foundation?

Investing in Talent

Student hardship is a reality, even in business schools. Help us break down financial and social barriers that limit access to quality education for the most underprivileged.

To provide every talent with the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background, the GEM Foundation gathers donations to promote equal opportunities by directly supporting the most deserving students through:

  • Social and Excellence Scholarships: Supporting the most talented students in the Grande Ecole Program based on social and academic criteria by partially covering tuition or living expenses.
  • Emergency Aid Scholarships: Offering a helping hand to the most vulnerable scholarship recipients or students facing critical situations (health issues, family breakdowns).

Testimonials

Our mission is to support the students most in need to ensure we don’t overlook deserving talent and profiles", says Virginie Sémavoine, member of the GEM Foundation Scholarship Committee. Learn more about our actions to promote equal opportunities.
I would like to express to the GEM Foundation’s donors how much every donation matters and can help resolve delicate, often unexpected, situations that are worsening due to current circumstances."
– Elias, second-year student and recipient of a social and excellence scholarship.

Supporting Research to Benefit Society

The GEM Foundation also funds research and teaching chairs to address critical and strategic challenges for businesses and society.
By connecting research and businesses, we respond to societal challenges through funding new studies, disseminating results widely, and incorporating them into improved student training. In this sense, the Foundation serves as a true tool for co-creating knowledge.
