Yan MENG est professeur adjoint de marketing qui aime la recherche et l'enseignement. Son domaine de recherche porte sur la façon dont l'identité, les indices linguistiques et contextuels ainsi que les significations et les pratiques culturelles influencent le jugement et la prise de décision des consommateurs. Elle a publié ses résultats sous forme de chapitres de livres et de comptes rendus de conférences de marketing et de psychologie ainsi que dans des revues à comité de lecture. Elle a travaillé à temps plein dans plusieurs industries et a enseigné le chinois mandarin au grand public avant d'entrer dans le monde universitaire. Au cours des dernières années, elle a enseigné les fondements du marketing, les principes du marketing, la stratégie de marketing, l'introduction aux affaires et le comportement des consommateurs aux étudiants de premier cycle, le marketing mondial aux étudiants de maîtrise, la recherche quantitative aux étudiants DBA et le doctorat. cours de séminaire à Ph.D. étudiants. Yan a vécu, étudié et travaillé en Chine, au Japon, aux États-Unis, au Canada et en France et parle couramment le chinois, le japonais et l'anglais. Elle apprend le français maintenant.
