| EURODITE – Regional
trajectories to the knowledge Economy: a dynamic model Subject:
The project will primarily address the objectives of Topic 1.1.2 "Knowledge
dynamics and economic and societal development in Europe and its
regions", in particular to:
- Understand the role of knowledge dynamics in processes of
learning and competence-building at the level of regions, sectors,
social groups, institutions and organisations;
- Relate this to issues to competitiveness, regional development
and economic and social cohesion;
- Address territorial and organisational configurations affecting
the potential of innovation and economic development, including
systems and networks of innovation, institutions, sectoral and
regional agencies, small and large firms, human and social capital;
- Examine how different arenas for learning and competence
building are inter-connected in specific patterns for shaping
different national and regional systems, as well as the implications
for the EU open process of co-ordination.
