| REBUS – Relationship Between Business and Society
Subject:
Investigate how the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility is
perceived by the management of both large and medium-to-small
enterprises in Europe, and by society as a whole, with particular
reference to the main stakeholders in firms, and to single out and
exchange good practices.
Several research methods were used:
- bibliographical and documentary reseach to compare the European
vision on the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility,
- interviews of bureaucrats, unions, shareholders, employees and
clients,
- target groups that will use this sociological/organisational
tool,
- an ethnographical analysis based on certain population groups to
shed light on managers' positions on Corporate Social
Responsibility,
- workshops,
- case studies.
