The C.I.T.E. (Centre for Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship) is a place for experimenting new practices and developing new competences for practitioners facing the new challenges of managing innovation.
Our research work is focused on specialized thematics, defined and revised every two years. For the next period 2009-2012, we look at innovation implying drastic changes for one or several industries and industrial actors.
We look at innovation implying drastic changes for one or several industries and industrial actors. We adopt two complementary approaches: one centered on nanotechnologies since it is admitted that they have the potential for both incremental and radical innovation; the other issue deals with the innovation process and managerial practices akin to foster radical innovation success.
Our activities include:
- Scanning emerging issues in innovation management and raising practitioners awareness
- Collaborative projects: academic contractual projects and applied projects aiming at experimenting and co-developing new approaches and methods to cope with new challenges for innovators and innovation managers
- Disseminating new knowledge and practices through training programmes, publications and a knowledge platform
