International residencies for executives
|
Grenoble Ecole de Management is known for its international scope and expertise in Technology Management. Since 1991, Grenoble Ecole de Management has been a privileged partner in the organization of international residencies for executives. We design tailor-made programs in close cooperation with our partners.
Turnkey Operation
We help program directors to select their itinerary from a wide range of destinations in Europe and
China.
Company visits & Meetings with Local Executives
We organize visits to local and multinational firms in each city. Company presentations are delivered by directors and top managers. The companies we visit are often selected according to the participants’ background. Dinners with local managers, executive receptions and panel discussions can also be organized. These informal events are the perfect opportunity for participants to meet local executives. Frequent company visits include:
Lectures & Presentations by Practitioners & International Faculty
Lectures provide an excellent complement to field visits. Topics include:
- an introduction to the business environment of each country visited during the trip,
- an update on the European Union, managing cultural differences, the entry of China into the WTO, and others.

In their Words..
"The capstone of the Terry Executive MBA Program is our International Residency. The Grenoble International Executive Education team created a truly memorable experience for us. They provided an ideal mix of lectures, guest speakers, site visits, and cultural excursions. That in total allowed our students to really appreciate the impact that economic, social, regulatory, and cultural factors can have on business practice. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is absolute.”
Rich Daniels
Associate Dean for Executive Programs
Terry College of Business, University of Georgia
“On behalf of the University of Texas at Dallas Executive MBA Class of 2003, I would like to thank you for taking the time to organize and facilitate our European Residency. Your expertise and passion for your work augmented our international learning while providing a deeper insight and understanding of the global world in which we all hope to do business in. Again, thanks for a wonderful visit!”

Chinese Residencies:
Grenoble Ecole de Management has been intensively expanding its activities in China over the last 5 years. Our cooperation with China started with student exchange programs with some of the most prestigious universities in Beijing and Shanghai (Beijing University, China Academy of Sciences, Tongji University and JiaoTong University). We then developed a common MBA program with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a DBA program with Tongji University in Shanghai. This established network of academic partners and alumni provides us with many resources for the academic and business content of our programs in China.
In 2003, Grenoble Ecole de Management opened a permanent office in Shanghai, which contributes to expand and widen our activities. The Shanghai office is in charge of the logistics of our international residencies in China, while our office in Grenoble is your privileged contact for the design of the program.
