Program Objectives

To meet the challenges of the global marketplace Grenoble Graduate School of Business has designed a unique Master’s program in International Business to provide international companies with graduates who have both international business and management skills, with foreign language and cross-cultural competencies.

The MIB provides a truly international and multicultural learning environment which makes its graduates very attractive to potential employers worldwide.

Internationally recognized, the MIB was recently ranked by the Financial Times amongst the top ten Masters in Management in the world.

It was also one of the first pre-experience Masters in Management in Europe to achieve direct accreditation from AMBA.

Program overview

The MIB is a high-quality comprehensive program of business administration subjects, studied from an international perspective.

The program focuses on the knowledge required by managers in different sectors to work in international companies and environments.

The MIB is a strong generalist program that integrates all the core management courses and uses cross-functional approaches to apply these key fields while providing students with an international specialization.

It requires full-time attendance during one year followed by another year devoted to the completion of the International Management Project.

During that second year, participants can also opt to do in parallel with their International Management Project an internship or even take full-time employment anywhere in the world.

Foreign language skills are essential in business today. The program is taught in English but provides the possibility to learn French at the same time. No prior knowledge of French is required to attend the program.

Class profile

This postgraduate Master’s program is targeted at young graduates from any field and with no or limited prior work experience.

Recruitment for this program is on a worldwide basis. Students come from a wide variety of backgrounds: science, humanities, languages, technical and engineering.

The average age of the participants is around 25 years old. There are at least 30 different nationalities every year on the MIB program and there are usually over 79 countries represented in total on the different programs at Grenoble Ecole de Management.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for this program, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject.

Work experience is not compulsory.

Students from all backgrounds (both academic and cultural) are welcome to apply.

To apply candidates must complete the online application and include scanned copies of all original supporting documents (in English, or certified translation if in another language):

Photo (color, JPEG format, 150 x 150 pixels)
Copy of TOEFL (IBT 94 / computer based 240 / paper based : 587), TOEIC (800), Cambridge Proficiency Exam (A,B,C) or IELTS score report (6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in the written part).
TOEFL Institution code: 8973
GMAT could be required. Target Score 550 (GMAT Institution code 0365). If you are required to take the GMAT you will be notified after the admissions board meets.

Fees to be paid by student	12,600 Euros

Fees are subject to change. Please verify program fees each year before commencement.

Please note: GGSB students are not eligible for CROUS scholarships.

Application deadlines

Policy concerning the refund of tuition fees

All students are required to pay an additional 180 euros in student services and administrative fees for Year 1 plus a further 180 euros for Year 2 for Student Card renewal fees.
