The partnership entails two major initiatives

Integrative case study – MSc Business Development

José Tarantini, Distribution Development Manager for Michelin, will present an integrative case study to the new class by sharing his experience in being in charge of network distribution development for Michelin in Brazil, and examining the possible issues for a similar development in India.

The students will then travel to India in February 2010 to put into practice a business development plan that they would have previously put together in the class room.

Furthermore, the students will examine the cultural and managerial differences, as well as the best Indian negotiation techniques and arrive in New Delhi with the aim of offering concrete proposals for the development of Michelin’s activities in India – proposals that will then be detailed in their end-of-program thesis.

José Tarantini will also deliver a 6-hour course in English to the MSc Business Development’s students in November 2009 in Grenoble. He will present his business and its aspirations as well as share his professional experience and visions for the future. The students will then work on a Business Development problematic and offer proposals at the end of the course.

A similar course in French will be delivered in October 2009 to students of the French Grande Ecole program.
