Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) offers two 2-year post-doctoral positions associated with its Business Model Reconfiguration research team. GEM is a research-oriented AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA accredited French business school with a strong focus on innovation. Its faculty shares a strong commitment to high quality and meaningful research and teaching.
The recently established Business Model & Strategy (BMS) research team comprises 11 permanent faculty and 6 post-doctoral and doctoral students. It focuses on industry transformation (with a special emphasis on digital technology in health/wellbeing and entertainment), and on business models as renewed strategic analysis. Its members and projects are highly connected to the international business model, strategy, innovation and organization theory research communities.
Grenoble, nested in the French Alps, is a very international city and one of the biggest European clusters for nano and biotechnology, energy, microelectronics, and information technology research. It offers a vibrant intellectual life in the heart of the French Alps.
Candidates must be familiar with the business model literature, at an advanced stage in their doctoral studies, and should ideally have prior publication experience. Candidates must be fluent in English; French language skills are an advantage.
GEM offers teaching opportunities in its multiple programs for post-docs who which to develop teaching experience. The teaching load attached to the positions is negotiable depending on candidates' research agenda.
