Internship
Each student will undertake an internship of a minimum of three months in a company of their choice at the end of the taught part of the program. It is expected that the internship will contribute to the content of the professional dissertation. The internship may take place anywhere in the world.
Professional dissertation
The second year of the program is dedicated to the professional dissertation conducted under the supervision of a tutor from GGSB. Students will choose an aspect of management of the Fashion, Design and Luxury sector to focus on and are encouraged to aim to link the subject to their future career. The dissertation can be done in parallel with permanent employment or an internship in France or abroad.
Foreign Languages
Foreign language skills are essential in business today and the program is taught in English but provides the possibility to learn a foreign language at the same time. No prior knowledge of French is required to attend the program. Students will have the possibility to study French non-French speakers but also will have the possibility to choose from Spanish, Italian or Chinese. The language component is not compulsory but it is highly recommended for those students willing to operate in the international Fashio, Design and Luxury Business.
Location
The MSc in Fashion and Luxury and Design Management will be offered on both the GGSB Grenoble and London campuses with a number of hours at each campus. Company visits to main players in the sector will also be included in the program.

It is expected that graduates of this MSc program will take up posts in multinational companies in the fashion industry or in the luxury goods sector (including homeware, cars, yachts etc.).
The program will prepare the graduates for posts in sourcing, purchasing, product development, product management, public relations, events management, store design, retail management, people management etc. in the fashion and luxury goods sector.
Students with a Bachelor’s degree from any background may apply to this program.
It is expected that applicants will have a clear idea of how this program will help them in their future careers in this sector of industry.

To ensure GGSB is the right fit for you and you are the right fit to GGSB, candidates may be requested to participate in an interview. You will be notified if an interview is necessary after the admission board meets. Admission is subject to the number of available places.
Fees September 2012
Fees include accommodation in Grenoble for London based students and accommodation in London for Grenoble based students. Visas, travel and food are not included in the tuition fees. The tuition fees do not include books

An Administrative fee of 200 € is charged for student services in Year 1 and a further 200 € for Student Card renewal in Year 2. Policy concerning the refund of tuition fees.
