The partnership entails various initiatives:
 

• The rugby club will actively participate in the creation and content of programmes within the field of marketing and sport at the Grenoble school.
   
• Professionals from the rugby club will meet with and present to Grenoble students a series of case studies for which the students will be in charge of developing business plans and strategies
   
• The two partners will respectively get involved in each others spheres during conferences, board of admissions, sports events and internships.

 
The topic of rugby is also present in the latest book of Grenoble Ecole de Management faculty member François Leccia and Associate Director Loïck Roche, entitled “Le management à l'école du rugby”. The book was co-authored with Jacques Delmas, coach of the 2005 and 2006 French rugby champions and crowned best coach in 2006.

Throughout the book the authors confront the world of rugby with the business one and explain how team spirit, reacting to victories and defeats, making the right pass at the right time etc. can be used in the business world. The authors argue that just like in rugby, for a business to be successful it needs the performance of each individual but also a team that ‘plays’ together.
