Research: Management and Behavior
|
Research in our department addresses key challenges of managing and organizing in contemporary societies.
Three main research areas include:
- the critical analysis of managerial practices (e.g., stress and work-life-balance, collective competencies),
- the study of current organizational phenomena (e.g., temporary clusters, institutionalization and institutional logics),
- and the exploration of contemporary societal challenges (e.g., corporate social responsibility, governance, European employment policies and practices).
Standing research groups have been established in three areas: creative industries, human resources, and economic peace.
The creative industries group focuses on industry networks, festivals and events, and professional trajectories in creative fields.
The human resource/competencies group emphasizes the individual and organizational outcomes of employee well being.
The economic peace group pursues an interdisciplinary agenda exploring both the conditions under which economic peace emerges and expands, and the contribution of business education to the creation of value(s).
