The Institute for Research and Innovation in Purchasing Management drives the creation of knowledge, sparks discussion, and serves as a center for excellence and expertise in the field of purchasing. The Institute operates according to three principles:

The Institute’s work is built around three main pillars:

The Master’s degree program in Purchasing Management (with a concentration in purchasing and logistics)

The Executive Master’s program in Purchasing Management (in cooperation with top French professional training provider Cegos)

The development of international programs (in Morocco, Tunisia, and Romania, for instance)

The purchasing modules of Grenoble Ecole de Management continuing education programs

Changes in what is purchased, e.g. services associated with products

New purchasing concepts and tools such as total cost of purchase, e-purchasing, e-supply chain

The Institute’s activities are oriented toward three purchasing management issues :
